The key to living a focused life is direction. When you know what you want; a clear goal, you can steer all your energy in that direction. But when you don’t know what you want, you will mindlessly wander around.
Don’t get me wrong, focusing your energy in one direction doesn’t mean you should work 24/7. It’s all about how you use those working hours. If we change our mindset to pay close attention to maintaining a high level of focus, we will reap the benefits of using our time more effectively – while still having time left for the smaller things in life.
“Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have twenty-four hour days.”
– Zig Ziglar
We often blame Monday when we have the blues, but actually, we allow the distractions to draw our attention away from our accomplishments.
